Role Model Brooklyn Concert reviews
Roger - Awesome FTX - Failed again!
"I have a few things to say about this show, so I am so happy this request for a review came up. Role Model was amazing! The show itself was mind blowing, relevant, Avant Garde, and earth shattering. If it were possible, I would see Role Model 3 times a week.
Now the not so good. Each time, the experience gets worse at the FTX Arena for my 3rd music event over the last several years. (By the way, great place to see the Miami Heat play - no complaints there)
The acoustics at the arena are pretty bad for a big show. As a music lover and experienced concert goer, this arena really kills the best parts of a good show, especially for the "in the round" style of show. If you are drunk off your butt, you probably won't mind as much.
When you had a break or before the show, the arena once again came up short. I mean short of food stands, beer stands, and actual supplies at the stands they had.
Lots of people were lost or confused and looking for help before the show, as there were way too few staff members to help people around the arena. The Arena planning for staffing came up way short. I do want to say, its not the staff's fault. The staff I did interact with was AMAZING! They all had smiles on their faces and looked like a team, upbeat, friendly, helpful, and willing. The problem was, they were vastly outnumbered and the show wasn't even 2/3'rds full.
That is my assessment. I don't want to get into previous shows I have seen there so much because I really want to focus on the fact that each show is different, and they FTX people should have this down a little better by now. "Not their first Rodeo!""
